Yadda Yadda Yadda
Hello folks...let's see what we got here...
last night imbibed on a delicious Justin Vineyard 2001 Syrah - had it cellared for 2yrs - it was delish!
lil ole snow squall rolled thru here yesterday...gone today - but it is a might chilly..so bundle up and watch yer back - you know this kinda weather is perfect for the robber types cuz they can hide all kinds of stuff in jackets and such...shame you gotta talk about this stuff, but its crazeeeeee here in ole Bawlmer, Murderland...why-
just the other day a female off duty was taking her child to daycare when she was accosted by an armed a-hole...the a-hole grabbed the child, put a gun to the child's head and demanded $$$...fortunately no one was hurt - that folks is the kind of piece of cow pie that you'd like to have cornered up...maaaaaan don't get me started
hey folks check out edge of existence - search...real interesting stuff and they need help
ohhhhhhhhhhhh and havin' trouble sleepin' - MELATONIN works!
ask your Doc...but it sure beats another Rx
gotta run....need me some Burger King (whopper w//cheese like substance)- what'ya think of that scary guy in the king outfit? over the top....aaaaaaahhhhhh ha

It's just another day...
Had our first snowfall this week and folks , especially the media folks, really made it into the Blizzard of '96. Gosh darn.
Cold weather appears to have affected the trigger finger of our top guns in Bawlmer, Murderland. Even a murderer gets cold. I'ma reckonin' that the BPD is hopin' fer a real cold one at the end goin' into Spring.
Love the Super Bowl matchup . If it can't be the Ravens - at least have some entertaining teams.
I think these guys matchup well. Turnovers will be a key. I expect good d-fense. Could come down to the right foot of the kicker - either team. I ESPECIALLY love the fact that we have have two BLACK coaches gettin' some of the fanfare here. Lovie Smith and Tony Dungy have done marvelous jobs - will there be financial $$$ backing when all is said and done for these fellers? Parcells got out while the gettin' is good as did Mora (although he was canned). You can't let players individually kill a team. Look at 2006 in Bawlmer - there seemed to be an unspoken mutiny goin' because of the "team's uneasiness" with the starting QB - Boller. Almost spelled it for Billick. Hey the guy is a motivator and well, cocky, but he gets results.
Today, added another book to the list Where Do We Go From Here by Harry Crews. This is fun. Four at once.

Ashamed Behavior
Imagine the underdog Indy Colts come to Bawlmer in an important historical game ... and win.
It's not so much they won - as we lost more than the game.
I happened to be working the ole ballyard and folks - some Bawlmer fans got no class. THEY LOST - GET OVER IT! Saw a young man, in fact Naval Academy dude, sporting a Manning jersey walking past Gate A inside as the stadium was emptying. A young lady sidles up to him and then for no reason tosses a beer in the guy's face. We (the Dept guys) jump in pull her up - and instantly she lets go with the waterworks and mutters - "They stole her team. They had no right!" First off - she wasn't born when the team left for Indy. Second - I hardly believe this young man had anything to do with their leaving (he wasn't born yet either). Guy had a lot of class - "just talk at her and get her away from me". If you're out there reading this...and you're now sober...you should be ashamed. It's a freakin' football game. Grow up. Funny thing was the dudes that were with her left her in the tunnel - THEY KNEW BETTER.
Turnovers...not apple ones either...won that game - oh and the right foot of an ex-Pat.

If you're in for a penny, you gotta be in for a pound...
Aaaaaarrrgh. The Metro, one of the services offered by the Murderland Mess Transit System,
was at it again. Those crazee guys! "Trouble with the track...we'll be waiting a few...ummm now Get off at this stop - Everybody! - there's a train right behind this one. " Yeah, and the check is in the mail! Left kids, elderly and scattered others waiting on a platform while the train that jettisoned us came back the other direction albeit 15 minutes later! That 25 minute jaunt that is advertised by these fellers turned into 1 1/2 hr you are screwed my friend ride. And so as we pass into yet another year this "train system" continues to prove that you can't always get what you pay for. what choices? buses - NOOOOOOO, drive in and pay outrageous parking - "Hey Bawlmer - you aint NYC, not even close!"
Hey now - Christopher Moore came out with a sequel to Bloodsucking Fiends! Alllll right ...I think it's called You Suck - got it on order. The guy is funny.
So wadddya think Ravens 27 Colts 10?...or less
Just winged down a cold Sam Adams Winter Ale...it's refreshing...the Black Lager that preceded it weren't bad aye

Strange Days...Day
It's almost week 2 in January and yet we've had no snow...or cold weather here in Bawlmer. Was out walking in tee shirt and jeans yesterday. Hummmmph. It will come and when it comes - see Edgar Winter.
The Colts come to Baltimore to get yet closure on another Super Bowl less season. Should be loud and fun. The tale of the day - will Peyton's jersey get dirty - especially the back?? If so, then he will have spent some considerable time on his back. JO will handle Freeney. Handle.
The Ravens will pound on offense and defense - heck a coupla 14 play drives to paydirt really wipes the opponent out - ask Pittsburgh, Buffalo, Kansas City.

A To DO LIST for Moi in '07
Here it goes me buckos...
1. move toward the door at BPD
2. check out Shirleys over on Cold Spring Lane for brunch, Grand Cru in Belvedere Square for some vino...perhaps a flick at the Senator or The Charles to cap off a day
3. catch Halitzer at a show...tryin' to talk my man into a haltime show at a Super Bowl Party
yessssssss sweeeeeeeeeeeeeet!
4. read most if not all of my Harry Crews collection...almost there
5. return to the Baltimore under I-83 market for fruits and chow then eat the fixins' sittin' at Fort McHenry - a splendid day
6. the BMA and the Walters, then lunch/dinner at Saschas? or this really nice Korean place on 33rd Street across from the Hopkins Barnes and Noble..name eludes me - ahhhh a challenge to remember....very nice place - yess it is called Niwana - GO THERE enjoy!
