Ashamed Behavior
Imagine the underdog Indy Colts come to Bawlmer in an important historical game ... and win.
It's not so much they won - as we lost more than the game.
I happened to be working the ole ballyard and folks - some Bawlmer fans got no class. THEY LOST - GET OVER IT! Saw a young man, in fact Naval Academy dude, sporting a Manning jersey walking past Gate A inside as the stadium was emptying. A young lady sidles up to him and then for no reason tosses a beer in the guy's face. We (the Dept guys) jump in pull her up - and instantly she lets go with the waterworks and mutters - "They stole her team. They had no right!" First off - she wasn't born when the team left for Indy. Second - I hardly believe this young man had anything to do with their leaving (he wasn't born yet either). Guy had a lot of class - "just talk at her and get her away from me". If you're out there reading this...and you're now sober...you should be ashamed. It's a freakin' football game. Grow up. Funny thing was the dudes that were with her left her in the tunnel - THEY KNEW BETTER.
Turnovers...not apple ones either...won that game - oh and the right foot of an ex-Pat.
