Seems the Bawlmer Po Po got an "overtime" scandal over their heads. OR - is it smoke screen by the City to cry that we have "abused" the City's coffers and there is no $$$ for the next contract? One thing is for sure - FORGET those 3 year contracts! Oy vey!...more info check out baltimoresun.com

These days it doesn't pay (enough) to slip into the blue and strap on the 40 cal in Bawlmer, Murderland. As I write, contract negotiations for the next agreement between the City and the FOP #3 are being "worked on." Let's see how many of the guys in blue have died, been shot, shot at, stabbed , robbed and more in the last ummmmm year? Too many. What has been the City's grand response (incl former mayor)? Oh wella wella. Gets worse. Now the big outcry is that there are not enough minorities in Command positions...ummm poll some of the folks and ask them why they turned it down? $$$
Also there are some folks who got themselves a Masters at the City's expense who are not in Command positions - even though the degree was in Police Leadership. Did they turn down the job? OR are they not qualified? Well?

stated on the radio that if he were starting out NOW he would not look to Bawlmer to embark on his career. I say too dangerous made more dangerous by the lack of support from City Hall - for some time.

Money will be a big issue. A lot of folks are waiting to see if the next contract is a crapper like the last one. IF it is expect those vacancy numbers at the inn to go up, baby!
