Maryland Mess Transit Administration
It's all about numbers - bad numbers. There is one line of subway that runs from Johns Hopkins Hospital northwest thru the city of Bawlmer to Owings Mills. Been around a long while - but what of the service? If I work 20 -21 days a month (exc weekends) that figures to about 40 trips per month. Out of that 40 at least 5-10 are interrupted by train malfunction, problem with the track or other unforseen issues. Not a good percentage there folks. IT gets worse - if you leave early early expecting a problem a lot of days you can count on being right on time for work or a few minutes late - a lot! Patronage of the metro has picked up due to the robber oil barons with their hands in the pockets of Joe Citizen. With more riders experiencing continuous problem ....sniff sniff...I smell some trouble.
The Owings Mills parking area is being reconstructed into a parking garage (will you have to pay to park and then pay to use the trains?), library, homes and high end stores. Will it bring that criminal element - you betcha!
There was talk of spending some of our exorbitant tax money on another line of trains heading northeast out of the city...someone stop the madness...taxes will climb again to fund the "ever increasing need for operating capital" as the project exceeds budget. And yes....what of crime?
Ride the train - do the deed - steal a car home.. Stankass out
